What the service is
Burlingame CA Sewer Line is a referral service. We answer calls and connect homeowners in Burlingame, California with independent local sewer professionals. We do not perform plumbing or sewer work ourselves. For how we are compensated, read the disclosure.
Independent contractors
The professionals who take your call are independent contractors who run their own businesses. They are not our employees, agents or partners. Any work you agree to is an agreement between you and that contractor, including the scope, price, schedule and any workmanship guarantee on the completed work. Ask the contractor for those terms before work begins.
Availability
We try to answer every call at any hour and to dispatch a local professional quickly, including same-day and emergency dispatch where available. A contractor may not be available at a given time or place, and no particular outcome can be promised.
Information on this site
The content on this site is general information, not professional advice. Every sewer line is different, and only a camera inspection of your line can show what is wrong with it. The site does not give legal, financial or engineering advice. Statements about city requirements, permits, testing at sale and responsibility for your sewer lateral are general, and you should check current requirements with your city or sewer provider.
Prices and estimates
Prices are set by the contractor and explained before work begins. Nothing on this site is a quote. A price becomes binding only when you and the contractor agree to it.
Your responsibilities
Please give accurate information when you call, including your address, and make sure you are allowed to authorize work at the property. If you are a tenant, the owner may need to approve repairs.
Calls
Calls may be recorded, and we tell you so at the start of each call, as described in the privacy policy. By staying on the line after that notice, you consent to the recording.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Burlingame CA Sewer Line is not liable for the work, acts or omissions of the independent contractors, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or the referral service. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the use of this site or the referral service will be heard in the courts located in California.
